Mayka Kukucova, the Slovak swimwear model, was 26 years old when she was in bed waiting for 48-year-old businessman Andrew Bush, who was coming to his villa in Spain in April 2014.
The millionaire owner of a jewelry store known in the city as “Mr Bling of Marbella” was shot dead by his jealous ex-girlfriend who was waiting for him armed in bed, it was said at the trial of the case.
Mayka Kukucova, then a 26-year-old model, was waiting in bed as the merry businessman returned to his villa with his new girlfriend.
Kukucova had managed to avoid the security guards to enter, after refusing to connect Bush with his youngest girlfriend 20-year-old Maria Korotaeva, writes the network Somerset Live.
Korotaeva, who was coming behind him from the car, heard three gunshots and then found her new partner in a pool of blood as the debate with Kukucova closed with the language of the gun, the court was told.
An investigation revealed that Bush had been hit by a bullet in the arm and the other two in the head.
Kukucova was jailed in May 2016 for 15, but a year later his sentence was reduced to 13 years in prison.
British forensic doctor Dr Peter Harrowing said investigations into Bush’s death had been reopened after his body was finally brought to Britain earlier this year, five years after his death.
Dr Harrowing said the criminal proceedings against Kukucova had taken place in Spain where he was found guilty in 2016.
The coroner said: “On April 5, 2014, around midnight, Mr. Bush came to his home in Malaga with his new partner, but inside the house was Mayka Kukucova.
“Bush had invited his ex-girlfriend to leave but she did not and wanted to call the police. But a heated argument broke out between Bush and Miss Kukucova.
“Consequently, Kukucova used a firearm she had with her, with which she shot Bush three times, motivated by the desire to kill him.
“Mr. Bush did not have the opportunity to react to defend himself.
“Kukucova left the scene but was subsequently arrested, tried and found guilty of murder.
At the Kukucova trial in 2016, it was said that the model had become obsessed with Mr. Bush since their split in November 2013.
Mr. Bush leaves behind his ex-wife Samantha, and daughter Ellie Mason Bush.
