More than milionë 85 million has been raised in just two days by UK citizens who have shown their solidarity with the Ukrainian people, asking for help.
The Emergency and Disaster Committee in Britain is made up of 15 charities, all of which are involved in the initiative. The humanitarian campaign started on Thursday morning and ended on Friday in the late hours of the night.
Part of the appeal for help were also the Queen of England, Elizabeth II and Prince Charles.
To this amount will be added a donation of 25 million pounds, given by the British Government.
Despite this campaign, donations continue to be collected from various humanitarian centers, in order to help not only during this emergency to the Ukrainian people, but also in general.
