A British couple recently complained on social media that the ‘spy’ employee of a holiday hotel in Spain was filming them having sex, before they were suddenly spotted while ‘changing positions’.
Abigail Higson with boyfriend Usama Qazi, both 28, were in the middle of their intimacy at the hotel in Magaluf, Mallorca, when they saw the hotel employee filming them from the open door of the room.
The couple say their claims were denied by Sándalo Beach hotel staff, who say the incident is untrue as the couple were drunk and were making noise.
Abigail, an Amazon distribution worker, said: “When I saw it I screamed. He had taken out his phone and was filming us. I went out the door of the room and shouted, ‘What are you doing, you pervert?
The couple from Bradford had booked their 11-day vacation at the hotel in Maguluf as their two children were left with Abigail’s mother.
The stay at the hotel had cost them 8 558 ($ 700) but after the incident the hotel properties say they had alerted police of problems with the youngsters. While the couple say they were the ones who called the police.
The couple had then moved to another hotel and say they already lock the door when they are inside making love.
Abigail complained: “Episodes like these destroy intimacy. “That’s why we left the children at home, for a kind of ‘sex marathon’.”
The development comes as Majorca has tightened anti-riot rules for British holidaymakers, limiting only six drinks or cocktails a day to ban anti-social behavior, but critics say that for this ‘mistress’ holidaymakers only need to change the bar or hotel.
The new rules also ban the sale of alcohol from 9.30pm until 8am, plus increased surveillance in problem areas frequented by Britons like Magaluf, El Arenal and Playa de Palma in Mallorca, and Sant Antoni de Portmany in Ibiza.
The laws come after several sex scandals of British holidaymakers in Magaluf in 2014 that gave the island’s main boulevard Punta Ballena, ‘500 meters of shame’.
