There is no winner in the derby between Dinamo and Partizan valid for the quarterfinals of the Albanian Cup.
At Air Albania Stadium, the challenge between the two teams in the capital ended with the result 1-1. Both goals of this meeting were scored in the first half with the Reds taking the lead.
Tedi Cara in the 25th minute took advantage of an insecurity of Simon after Mark’s shot to send the ball into the net. But in the last minutes of this 45 minutes, dinamo won an 11-meter dash and captain Agim Ibraimi made no mistake from the penalty spot and scored the 1-1 draw.
In the second half the teams had their chances with Kallaku Mountain on one side and Ibrahim on the other, but without success and the result until the end of the 90 minutes remained 1-1 and the issue of qualification will be discussed in the return match.
Meanwhile, the other quarterfinal match of the Albanian Cup, the one between Skënderbeu and Teuta, took place in very difficult climatic conditions due to low temperatures and snow in the southeastern city. Anyway, Teuta managed to get a minimal 0-1 victory, but it is very valuable for the qualification.
The first half ended with a 0-0 draw with the teams that in the first minutes did not do much, but that after the minutes began to attack the respective gates. After the break of the match, Teuta appeared more demanding in the game as he created chances with Aleksi or Daja and in the 61st minute, Hebaj concretized these efforts of the team led by Arapi, scoring at the Korça gate. A few moments later Teuta scored another goal with Acquah, a goal that is canceled for an offside position. The situation did not change and the result remained 1-0 for Teuta, which in this way takes a step forward towards the semifinals of the competition.
