Two brothers, Beniamin Kondi and Edison Kondi, owners of a private beach in the Radhima area, have conflicted over the administration of the area.
According to the police, the conflict escalated by pulling out the gun and Benjamin shot in the direction of his brother Edison.
No one was injured in this serious incident, but it caused panic among vacationers who preferred to spend the day on one of Vlora’s beaches.
The brother who managed to use the weapon escaped, while the police have surrounded the area and are working to arrest him.
Vacationers say that they experienced moments of horror during the shooting.
A tourist from Norway witnessed the event in Radhima. He tells the media that he heard several shots and then saw people running. The Norwegian tourist says that he is in Albania with his family, while emphasizing that the event scared him
“We heard shots and everyone ran, maybe two or three shots, we didn’t see anything, I don’t know if anyone was shot, I’m from Norway”said the Norwegian tourist.
“Many shots over 5 or 6 times, people left, I had the maid with all the boys, the others hid, I didn’t hear anything about injured people, there were many people”said a vacationer.
“Krisma a lot, several times, the police and ambulance came, I told my husband, let’s go home, I can’t stay, we are from Kuçova”said a vacationer.
“We heard shots, 5, 6, coming from the parking lot, I think it was like that but I don’t know, it’s the first time here“, said an Italian tourist.
