The European Parliament on Thursday adopted a resolution calling for an immediate embargo on imports of gas, oil, coal and nuclear fuel from Russia.
The request for an immediate gas embargo was the subject of an amendment adopted by 413 votes to 93, with 46 abstentions. The entire text passed with 513 votes in favor, 22 doubles and 19 abstentions, in response to Russian aggression in Ukraine.
