French television star Igor Bogdanoff has died from a covid-19 infection, six days after his twin brother Grichka died of the same disease, the brothers’ lawyer confirmed to CNN on Tuesday.
Maitre Eduoard de Lamaze said he was informed of the death by relatives of the twins.
“They died of Covid,He told CNN. ““They were both in the same hospital. Grichka died six days earlier than Igor.”
He said they had been hospitalized at Georges Pompidou Hospital since December 15 after being contracted with Covid in November. Igor Bogdanoff died Monday and Grichka Bogdanoff died last Tuesday.
De Lamaze said it is ““It is very sad to see those two men who loved each other so much, were happy, kind and original.”
He added that the brothers had been healthy before contracting Covid-19.
