The High Inspector of Justice announced the launch of a disciplinary investigation against Judge Agron Zhukri, who decided to accept the request of the Re-establishment Group in the Democratic Party by dismantling any current structure in this party.
The decision to launch the investigation was made at the request of the Secretary General of the Democratic Party Gazment Bardhi.
The High Inspectorate of Justice reacted immediately and started the verification on this complaint, on the alleged violation for Zhukri. The law in such cases stipulates that the ILD from the filing of the complaint starts the verification and in case violations are found immediately after the disciplinary investigation starts and then these findings of the ILD are deposited in the HJC. Its members will vote on whether or not to take action based on the request of the chief inspector and the findings that he will ascertain during this disciplinary investigation.
The Law also stipulates that if there are serious violations found by the investigation, the judge will be dismissed.
But on the other hand, in addition to this disciplinary investigation that calls into question Zhukri’s career, he has open accounts regarding the re-evaluation process which should be carried out in the KPC, where he will be subject to three levels of vetting.
