On the official website of the Employment Agency during 2022 alone, 830 job applications were announced by businesses.
Of these vacancies 322 of them, almost 40% of them are at the level of 32 – 40 thousand ALL salary, which are considered as the minimum salary.
In total, the National Agency states that there are 3,800 vacancies, a high figure compared to about 4,000 people who receive unemployment benefits.
“The so-called long-term unemployed are increasing in the market, who are a group of discouraged employees. “They do not want to work without fulfilling certain conditions, such as better salaries and other conditions.”
Adding to the shortage of workers in the market is the fact that young students are choosing branches for the foreign market.
“The recent trend is the selection of branches, which then qualify for foreign markets.”
The government has approved a National Strategy for Skills and Employment and has made available for three years, a fund from the budget of 14.2 billion ALL (120 million euros), but this strategy is not helping the gaps in the market, when 42 thousand people, active labor force emigrated only last year.
“Another strategy is needed and an immediate intervention by the government, because the measures so far have not worked.”
