These are the terrifying moments when a hot air balloon filled with dozens of tourists nearly free-falls in Egypt after colliding with another balloon in mid-air.
Video recorded this morning in Luxor in southern Egypt shows the aircraft falling from the sky with a loud crash, which thankfully only left two passengers injured.
Other footage shows locals rushing to help 30 tourists who were on the ball, most of whom appeared to be from Western countries.
The two injured had only minor injuries sustained during the mid-air collision, a document published by Egyptian media said.
The ministry added that a group of balloons raised almost simultaneously this morning had reached a height of 80 meters, when one of them began to lose control, according to the Sky News Arabia network.

“One of the balloons deviated in the direction of another balloon and this caused a cut in the body of the balloon”, added the ministry.
“The balloon that suffered the cut fell to the ground and its passengers were not injured, except for two of them who suffered minor injuries,” the statement added.
Hot air balloons in Luxor, 320 miles south of Cairo offer a colorful show for local tourists as well as spectacular views of ancient temples.
But accidents have happened several times in the major program, some of them with tragic consequences.
A hot air balloon crash near Luxor in 2013 killed 19 tourists in the worst accident on record.
While in 2009, 16 tourists were killed when their balloon tragically hit a cell tower.
