April Simpkins, 53, revealed yesterday the last words of her tragic daughter Willow Smith, before former Miss USA, Cheslie Kryst jumped from the balcony to her death.
The 30-year-old from Michigan jumped from her apartment on the 29th floor in Manhattan in January after having faced mental health problems since adolescence.
April Simpkins recounted her daughter’s last words in an interview with Jada Pinkett Smith.
“I’m sorry, after you read this I will not be alive. “And I am even sadder that I am hurting you even more,” Kryst wrote to her mother.
The mother says that when she received the tragic message her daughter knew she could not intervene anymore, as the message came to her an hour after it was sent.
Further the tragic girl wrote in the text:
“I love you very much mom, you are my friend and the person for whom I have lived for many years. “I would like to be with you but I can not bear the weight of constant sadness, feelings of hopelessness and loneliness.”
“I never told you these feelings because I did not want to bother you, because I hoped that consequently they would change, but I know it will never happen. They follow me in every achievement, success, family celebration or friendly dinner “.
“I know you would have wanted to know and help me, but I did not want to share this burden with others.”
“Anyway, thank you for being with me because I did not tell you I needed you.”
Simpkins said her daughter had included in her last words some personal wishes and information she did not prefer to share on social media.
