After the lifting of anti-Covid measures after about two years, it seems that businesses in Greece are “eager” to earn the money that they failed to secure in the past two seasons.
On the island of Mykonos, the prices are very high, exceeding acceptable limits. According to the Greek media, it costs 500 euros to watch the sunset in the bars of the island.
Top Albania Radio writes that this fact was evidenced by a resident of Mykonos, Dimitris Koutsoukos, as he made this “madness” known through a post on his Facebook page.
He wrote that:
“My two friends from San Francisco have come to Mykonos, who are neither poor nor very rich. Yesterday they wanted to go somewhere for a drink to watch the sunset. They sat in one of the bars to watch the sunset. The waiter went to take the order and was told it’s 500 euros if they wanted to watch the sunset. They got up and left. So we only want very rich tourists in Mykonos? We have escaped a lot on this island.”
Just a few weeks ago, the case of two American tourists, mother and daughter, who had ordered two cocktails and crab legs and were shocked when the bill came to more than 600 euros and 65 euros had been put as a tip without their knowledge, caused a stir.
We remind you that tourists who dare to defecate on the coasts and seas of Spain will be fined a full 750 euros. Lawmakers in Vigo, a city in the Galicia region, said anyone caught defecating at sea or on a beach would have to pay a fine.
