Travis Scott has been sued by a woman who was pregnant and lost her baby in November 2021.
The tragic event at the Astroworld Festival in Houston led Shanazia Williamson and her husband, Jarawd Owens from Dyaton, Ohio, to claim that their unborn child had died as a result of injuries sustained by the crowd.
The lawsuit alleges that in addition to the tragic event, the woman received injuries to her shoulder, back, legs and other body parts. According to Rolling Stone, the lawsuit was originally filed on December 27, 2021.
Moreover, the death of the unborn child was reportedly not classified by the Harris County Legal Services Institute, as the alleged death or miscarriage did not occur in Houston and the couple lives in Ohio.
It remains unclear in which month of pregnancy Williamson was.
In the new court documents the number of deaths has gone up to 11, as it was previously 10.
The others who lost their lives were from the age of 14-27, who are involved in the lawsuit filed against Scott.
The rapper released his first song two weeks ago, after the tragedy of “Astroworld”, he has also returned to the stage with concerts.
