At a distance of less than 30 kilometers in the space of 5 days, two mafia assassinations took place that took the lives of 4 young people, 3 at the Fushë-Kruja overpass last Sunday in the middle of the day and the last one on Friday evening in the center of Milot.
In both cases, the assassins disappeared after abandoning their weapons in the burning cars. Despite the fact that public safety in this very frequented axis has been severely compromised, the police is non-existent. Tektuk sees the traffic police patrolling, which mainly deals with violations of the traffic code and not with cars with black windows and foreign license plates.
Even in Milot, the situation is the same. Despite the fact that not even 24 hours have passed since the mafia assassination, there is not a single police patrol in the city.
Miloti is known for high criminality and often perpetrators of criminal offenses hide in this city, but despite this, the police in this city are non-existent. There is no police station here and there is only one police patrol with two officers patrolling the city.
Even in the crime of Friday night, the police arrived at the scene 30 minutes late, when the perpetrators arrived in Borizana, they burned the vehicle and left in an unknown direction.
This dilapidated and bramble-covered building was once a police station that has long been out of order. The police station of Laç is now responsible for the order of this problematic city.
The murder of 28-year-old Klisman Preçi was revealed by the police after the lack of information from the criminal police and control of the territory caused the assassination of the Fushë-Kruja Overpass to be repeated within 5 days, probably by the same perpetrators.
The lives of Klisman Preç and Ylli Brahim were threatened by gunshots in two different incidents a month ago, but the police could not find the names of the killers or the orderers.
The murder of Erigers Mihas and Armando Duman in November of last year, of Can Karriç in Bathore a month later, the execution of 3 young men in the overpass of Fushë Kruja and recently the murder of 28-year-old Klisman Preçi have a common denominator, the connection with wanted Ervis Martinaj.
Off-camera relatives of the 28-year-old told Top Channel that they have reservations about the blue uniforms. According to them, the police have given free rein to the crime to kill in its midst, taking the lives of people who have nothing to do with it, as was the case of the last victim who took her life only because of the desire to travel in luxury cars.
