A Russian airstrike damaged an airport runway and a gas depot near the town of Myrhorod in Ukraine’s central-eastern Poltava region today, Governor Dmytro Lunin said in an online post.
This has been confirmed by the Russian army. The Russian military said Saturday it had attacked a military airport in Ukraine’s Poltava region.
Fighter helicopters and planes were destroyed, the Russian Defense Ministry in Moscow announced.
Also, this ministry has announced that fuel and weapons depots, armored vehicles and ammunition have been hit.
