The situation in the 3 hydropower plants above the Drin River cascade is continuing to improve as a result of the rain and snow that have covered the north of the country.
The Fierza hydropower plant, which a few days ago was in critical condition, in the last 24 hours has undergone another increase of 2 meters. Today, the largest catchment in the country turns out to be at the quota of 265.14 meters, from 263 that was the day before or 4 meters more than in the official report of KESH on April 1. Flows in Fierza go up to 700 m3 of water per second.
Even in the other 2 hydropower plants of Drini, there is a slight increase of the level. Komani this Sunday is at the quota of 173.8 meters while Vau Dejes at 75 meters. The feeds are more packaged than the day before while the production has also been reduced to 9000 mwh. These two energy works are towards the normal state for the period in which we are as Komani is less than 3 meters from the maximum point while Vau – Dejes only 1 meter.
