The White House has denied reports that the US administration is considering withdrawing US troops from Eastern Europe ahead of talks with Russia next week.
A White House official made the clarification in response to a request from VOA, after NBC News reported earlier that U.S. officials were preparing to propose discussions on reducing US troop deployments and military exercises in Eastern Europe if Moscow shows that it is serious about negotiations.
