Sessions have started in the Court of Tirana for the evaluation of the security measure against the three suspects who were arrested for fraud with counterfeit money.
Viard Kotori was presented with counterfeit money at a foreign exchange point. The young man, who was later arrested by police, tried to defraud the employee by saying the dollars had been taken to the bank. Seeing that the saleswoman realized the fraud, he walked out of the store and left quickly, police say. His collaborators Etmond Dokushi and Ervin Kamolli also handcuffed the blue uniforms.
Their arrest was made after a several-week investigation, while they are charged with “Counterfeiting coins”, committed in collaboration. A total of $ 3,650 was seized. According to investigators, the three young men cheated some people in Tirana, Korça, Lezha and Elbasan with counterfeit money.
