Two people were arrested and nine others were prosecuted at large in Shkodra, after creating an environment where gambling was played.
In the police operation codenamed “Poker 4”, 1 poker table, 1 suitcase with chips, 5 pairs of gambling cards and 2 mobile phones were seized.
As a result of this operation were arrested in flagrante delicto:
32 year old with initials EZ, resident in the neighborhood “Ajasem” of Shkodra, after managing the restaurant where the activity was performed. The criminal offenses are aggravated: “Organizing or exercising gambling activities in violation of the law” committed in collaboration, “Making premises available for illegal gambling” and “Concealing income”.
54 year old with initials AP, resident in the neighborhood “Perash”, Shkodra, for the criminal offenses “Organizing or exercising gambling activities in violation of the law” committed in collaboration.
The materials were also passed to the Prosecutor’s Office and criminal proceedings have been initiated in a state of freedom for the citizens: GL, 60 years old, IO, 31 years old, EV, 39 years old, MA, 58 years old, AK, 42 years old, BT, 32 years old, BT, 65 years old, BN, 37 years old and AA, 34 years old, all residents of Shkodra.
All the convicts were found playing gambling at a poker table, in return for payment at a place called “Dervishbeg Bridge”.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Shkodra Court of First Instance, for further action.
