The Kosovo Police Inspectorate has recommended the suspension of three border police officers at the Brnjak checkpoint, following the escape of Milan Radojcic, suspected of killing Serbian politician Oliver Ivanovic.
It is learned that the Kosovo Police Inspectorate, respectively the investigators of the PIK Investigation Department have recommended to the Kosovo Police the suspension of three police officers, a captain, a sergeant and a police officer, all employees at the border crossing in Brnjak in the Directorate Regional Border “North”.
At the border crossing point of Brnjak on Thursday evening during the crossing control a person appeared, to whom PIK refers with the initials MR
“The wanted person is suspected to have turned back in the direction of Serbia, leaving the documents in the police office of the border crossing point”, it is stated in the notification of PIK.
It is also reported that the Basic Prosecution in Ferizaj has started investigations against police officers for the criminal offense of “abuse of authority or official position.”
