A 42-year-old owner of a business on the coast of Saranda has been arrested by police after dumping aggregates into the sea during the summer months.
Xh.T has used a part of the beach rented in neighborhood number 4 in Saranda by a private entity, during the summer season 2021 and on 07.01.2022, has thrown a quantity of inert waste (stones and gravel), in order to expand space for exercising its activity on the coast thus causing pollution.
Police notification:
Crime Investigation Specialists at the Saranda Police Station arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense “Waste Management”, citizen Xh. T., 42 years old, resident in Saranda.
This citizen has used a part of the beach rented by a private entity, during the summer season 2021, in the neighborhood no. 4, Saranda, and in this area, on 07.01.2022, has dumped an amount of inert waste (stones and gravel), in order to expand the space for exercising its activity on the coast.
The materials were referred to the Prosecution at the Saranda Court of First Instance for further action.
