The Minister of Education and Sports Evis Kushi and the Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj met with the leaders and presidents of high schools in Tirana, as the “European Youth Capital 2022”.
During her speech, Minister Kushi emphasized that this year a very high budget is dedicated, of 500 million ALL for sports activities in educational institutions for sports teams, championships or competitions, like never before.
“It has not happened in these 30 years to set such a high budget for sports activities and this is something we must use together, so that our schools are as committed to activities as possible, everything in function of all together.
Meanwhile, for the arts and crafts program, the Albanian government has established a fund available for artistic activities for painting competitions for plots, plots of land in schools. Kushi stressed that by March it will be detailed for all schools across the country. Of course, Tirana occupies an important place that should be used within the large project “Tirana Youth Capital”.
