London Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has made it clear he wants to keep Broja in the squad despite strong interest from West Ham.

The boy from Malësia e Madhe impressed last season on loan at Southampton, where he scored 9 goals in all competitions, but above all, standing out with his strength and talent. After the loan, Broja has returned to the Chelsea club where he faces a strong battle to enter the starting 11 of the blues.

Although Romelu Lukaku left on loan at Inter, Tuchel still has Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi to choose from in terms of attacking positions. According to British media, Broja has hinted to Chelsea management that he wants a final transfer this summer to achieve his ambitions to play regularly as a starter.

The first offer of the David Moyes team of 25 million pounds was rejected by Chelsea, but West Ham is back again, putting a full 30 million pounds on the table for Broja’s card. Such an amount of around 35 million euros is of course one of the highest concrete offers for a footballer of the Albanian national team, but this amount was not enough to tempt Chelsea.

The British media suggest that with the great desire and also the willingness to spend significant sums, for West Ham to reach an agreement on personal terms with Broja would not be a problem, but now it is Tuchel himself who in some way ‘ throws water on the fire’ regarding a departure of Broja to East London, emphasizing that he wants to keep the attacker of the Albanian national team. “I don’t expect Armando to leave, even though we are aware of offers and interest in him,” – said the Chelsea coach.
