13 students from the village of Tërshenë in Kukës make two hours every day to go to school between the snow and the cold.
Afrim Tahiraj in a live link for the show “Albania Live” confessed that he went to visit the children of the village together with 34 volunteers.
They sent gifts for the end-of-year holidays to make them a little happier though for a while.
“We organized 35 people to send toys and gifts for the holidays. It has been snowing there for five or six months and the conditions for schooling are difficult, they are very shy children. We spent about an hour, many from Kosovo joined us. I did the way they do for school. “They go there in those conditions for the need of knowledge.”, said Tahiraj.
