Two Canadar planes have arrived from Thessaloniki, Greece to put out the fire on Mount Chika.
After departing from Thessaloniki, the planes stopped in Corfu where they were supplied with fuel, and at around 4 p.m. they started the operation to extinguish the flames.
One plane takes 9,000 liters of water, and according to the prefect of Vlora Flamur Mamaj, the operation will continue the next day until the fire is completely extinguished.
The fire on the Çika mountain continues for the fourth day, while the flames have descended even lower, approaching the village of Dhërmi.
