Two citizens have been arrested in Lezha because they are suspected of trading narcotics in the city.

Based on the information received on the operational road that two citizens were transporting narcotics with their vehicle, on the old road axis Lezha – Milot, Lezha Police services, immediately organized the work enabling the localization and stopping of the suspected vehicle type ” Mitsubish ”for control, in the village of Pllana, Lezha.
As a result of the control, inside the vehicle driven by Ardit Marku and passenger Emiljan Gega, 3 black plastic bags were found, filled with plant material suspected of narcotics, where after their total weighing, their weight was 26 kilograms.
Following the operation, the citizens Ardit Marku, 26 years old, resident in Kurbin and Emiljan Gega, 22 years old, resident in Kurbin, were arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics”, committed in collaboration.
The material narcotics, the vehicle and 2 mobile phones were seized as material evidence.
The materials were referred to the Kurbin Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
