A Russian cargo ship carrying grain that Ukraine says was stolen has been detained by Turkish customs authorities, Ukraine’s ambassador to Turkey said.
The news has been confirmed by the Ukrainian ambassador to Turkey, Vasyl Bodnar, who says that the ship has been stopped by the customs authorities of Turkey.
“We have full cooperation. The ship is currently at the entrance of the port, it has been stopped by the customs authorities of Turkey,” he said.
He says that the fate of the ship will be decided tomorrow at the investigators’ meeting.
