10 people have been put under investigation in Kukës for the criminal offenses “Concealment of income” and “Illegal employment”.
The accused BZ, H. Th., HO, MB, GS, LZ, AS, MH, VO and F. Sh., Residing in Kukës, were active in bars – cafes and restaurants, in different areas of the city of Kukës, without registering with the tax authorities and with unregistered / insured employees.
According to the police, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance Kukës, for the criminal offenses “Concealment of income” and “Illegal employment”

Specialists for the Investigation of Economic Crime in DVP Kukës, in cooperation with the Kukës Police Commissariat, finalized the police operation codenamed “INFORMALITY – 1”. In the framework of this operation, 10 citizens were prosecuted at large, for the criminal offenses “Concealment of income” and “Illegal employment”, namely: BZ, H. Th., HO, MB, GS, LZ, AS, MH, VO and F. Sh., Resident in Kukës. These citizens exercised their activity in bar-cafe and restaurant entities, in different areas of the city of Kukës, without being registered with the tax authorities and with unregistered / insured employees, avoiding tax obligations and compulsory insurance for employees. Work continues to identify and crack down on other cases of informality in the territory of the Kukes region. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance Kukës, for the criminal offenses “Concealment of income” and “Illegal employment”.
