As the war in Ukraine continues without signs of peace, a US defense official has said that about two-thirds of Russian troops officially positioned around Kiev are now moving to Belarus.
The U.S. believes the troops are being re-equipped, supplied and possibly reinforced with additional manpower before returning to Ukraine to continue fighting.
“This does not mean that Kiev is not under threat“, Added the official.
Intelligence also shows that the vast majority of the more than 125 Tactical Groups of the Russian Battalion (BTG) are still in Ukraine.
