Honorable Speaker of the Assembly,
Dear colleagues,
Dear citizens who are following us,
I have voted and received the trust of thousands of citizens of the Tirana district, to represent them and to be the voice of their concerns and troubles.
There is no greater obligation to me than this. And I intend, with all my might, to justify this so generous belief.
Yes today, not for my choice, I have to say a few words about my father.
I want to first explain to the citizens, my voters, as far as the act of the Treasury Department is concerned, my father is taking every institutional and legal step to bring this injustice to the country. We certainly appreciate the US administration, and their decision has given itself the opportunity to appeal. Procedure that is already underway.
Aqif Rakipi has been frequently mentioned and slandered recently, especially by Lulzim Basha and someone close to him.
It has been unjustly demonized and a lot of mud has been thrown at it.
I have a word for Lulzim Basha. Do not curse the success of the other, but learn that politics is basically the relationship with people. And this is exactly the reason for your serial failure, this is why you, even though you have been given the greatest chances given to someone in these 30 years, failed to win the hearts and trust of the people.
Because you are basically fake, and you only see your selfish and material interest.
Success comes when you consider people, meet them, look them in the eye, weep over their worries, and strive for them. When you find yourself in them on difficult days. When they find support in them when they have a problem, when they slam the doors of hospitals, when they slam the arrogance of institutions, when no one listens.
My dad breaks to pieces to help anyone in need.
Different, but very different from you, my father has a quality that Albanians love, which is called burrni.
That’s why he was voted. This is why I have received support. This is worth it and at this point I will try my best to follow this path. With people for people.
As for the accusations, I invite you, the media and everyone who is concerned today, to investigate, to investigate every day of my activity, from the first moment of engagement, until today and onwards.
But citizens, people know this well. And he will not lose another second with the evil politics of evil mouths. I am here to serve and justify the trust given to me by about 16 thousand citizens.
I will do this every day of my engagement in politics.
