In his tour to Hanover and Bremen, Germany, the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has promoted the Free Economic Zone as a fantastic opportunity for the arrival of German companies in Albania.
After the establishment in Tirana of the prestigious German company Lufthansa Industry Solutions, it seems that a new trend of moving German companies to our country has started, which find a favorable ground to develop their business.
In Bremen, Veliaj was received by the mayor, Andreas Bovenschulte, as well as the member of the European Parliament, Joachim Schuster.
Through a post on social networks, Veliaj writes:
“I ended my short trip to Germany with Joachim Schuster, Member of the European Parliament and Bremen, who emphasized the strong bond that exists between our peoples. Thanks to the former mayor of Bremen, Carsten Sieling, for his tireless support“.
Earlier, Veliaj also met with high officials of the Hanover Region and members of the Landtag. After meetings with Maximilian Schmidt, member of the Landtag of Hanover, and the President of the Hanover Region, Steffen Krach, Veliaj emphasizes that their position is clear for the membership of the Balkan countries in the EU.
“Thank you for the hospitality my friend, Max Schmidt – member of the Landtag of Hanover and a staunch European! His position is clear: the EU will be complete only with the membership of the Balkan countries“.
“A short visit to Germany, to meet good friends and seek new collaborations in Hanover and Bremen. Very happy to also meet the President of the Hanover Region, Steffen Krach, and his wonderful team. You lead with creativity and passion!”, writes Veliaj.
Finding new collaborations was the focus of the last visit of the Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj to Hannover and Bremen, Germany.
