VIDEO/ The new Ronaldo is “born” in Brazil, praised by Scolari/ Real Madrid in “Pole Position” for talent!

Many say that such a talent is not born again, however in Brazil, they are witnessing another talent that, like Fenomeni, is shining at a very young age, only 17 years old.

We are talking about Vitor Roque, who is currently part of Athletico Paranaense. The striker has become the youngest Athletico player to score in a Copa Libertadores or league match. The Athletico club spent a full 4.4 million euros to transfer him from Cruzeiro. Precisely, at Ronaldo’s former club, Vitor got attention for the first time where, like Fenomeni, he made his debut at the age of 16, scoring a goal. The way he arrived at Cruzeiro (Ronaldo is the owner of this club) caused a lot of turmoil as Vitor broke away from America MG’s academy at the age of 10. The latter accused Cruzeiro of putting pressure on a child, however in the end Cruzeiro enjoyed the boy’s qualities until April 2022 when Athletico took ownership of Vitor.

Big words for Vitor come from Luis Felipe Scolari, the current coach of Athletico Paranaense. Scolari, who has also coached Ronaldo Phenomenon in the past, points out that Vitor is a player from whom Brazil will get a lot of satisfaction.

“Whatever we ask of him, Vitor manages to do it. However, the ideal position for him is the center of attack as a true number 9. He is very good at playing in the zone, always finds space. But it also knows very well how to help in other aspects. It is a very strong number 9 and a defender would never want to defend against him. He will grow a lot and he is a player from whom Brazil will get a lot of satisfaction”, said Scolari.

So, in Europe, which is always very attentive to talents from Latin America, the first interests in Vitor have started. However, Real Madrid lead the race as the talent dreams that one day, like his idol, Ronaldo, he can shine at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
