“We did not get the suitcase with money from Brussels” / Rama response to the critics: The donors administered the projects themselves, the government did not touch any money!

Rama said that any money given by donors for the reconstruction process has not been managed by the government.

The money is managed by the partners themselves and the government has simply allocated a portion of the reconstruction that has gone to each.

“As for the money of the world, they are the ones who accuse you of where you took them, how did you get them with these, you would have built Albania twice, the bit that helped us does not give us the money. He does the projects himself, assigns the companies himself, pays them for every job they do and completes the constructions himself. What the government does in this process is monitor and make decisions about the processes. There is a bag or suitcase that was filled with money in Brussels and came here. Jo! They contribute according to that part of the reconstruction we have given them.

Some say that these were done with bridges and these debts we will pay. This too is untrue. This is the contribution of the state budget to those who are most in need and this is our philosophy. “We are here for those who need it most.” said Rama.
