Another version appears a day after the tragic event where 18-year-old Anri Kashiku lost his life.
The supervisor of one of the two private beaches located in the ‘Rinia’ sector and who manages one of them, Igli Shahinaj, although he appears worried, tells the incident saying that the red flag was raised on the coast.
He then admits that at lunch time he was not at the observation tower, but when this happens he is helped by the tent workers who are not qualified for this kind of help anyway.
“We saw two people who had entered the sea even because we had the flag that it is not allowed, we ran directly to help the minors who did not listen to the calls. His brother and a worker from the area come here with me to help us”, said the watcher.
At the moment they pulled the unconscious minors out of the sea, when they turned their heads they did not see the 18-year-old. They managed to see only one hat above the water and that they could not save Anri.
“We took the two small bodies that had lost consciousness and tried to quickly get them out to sea to give them first aid from the ambulance, but the third person was behind us and when we turned our heads to see where the person is we only saw a hat over the sea. We ran quickly to see the person, but only the hat was there, we couldn’t help him”. he further added.
Shahinaj, after receiving notification that the vacationers are in danger, jumped into the sea, but without any means of rescue that could facilitate the whole process and save Anri’s life through a donkey or a life jacket, as recommended in situations of danger.
