It was supposed to be a normal meeting, but an immediate blockage due to COVID-19 forced a woman from China to stay for days at the home of the guy she first met.
According to CNN, the 30-year-old, identified only by her last name Wang, went to meet him for a dinner at home on January 6 in her hometown, Zhengzhou, in central China.
“I am getting older, my family has introduced me to 10 people“, She said in a video on social networks.
“The fifth guy wanted to show off his cooking skills and invited me to his house for dinner.”
But by the time Wang was getting ready to return to her home after dinner, she realized the whole neighborhood had gotten stuck.
China regularly closes communities the moment cases are discovered among residents. These unexpected blockages along with mass testing are part of the country’s strict strategy.
Unable to leave, Wang stuck at the boy’s house for days.
She posted videos of her unexpected cohabitation experience on social media, showing how he was cooking food for her.
It is not yet clear if Wang is still living in his home.
