The Constitutional Court is expected to decide the fate of President Ilir Meta following the Assembly’s request for his dismissal.
In a conversation with journalists from Washington, Prime Minister Edi Rama was asked if Meta will have the fate of Berisha if he is fired by the Constitutional Court.
Rama chose not to comment too long, saying:
“These are analyzes that are not difficult to do when you carefully follow the dynamics, but since Ilir Meta is on trial, I would not like to fall into this trap that raised me with a smile because I think it is time for the Constitutional Court to establish in place the trampled honor of the Constitution. ”
