Avi Leob, theoretical physicist and UFO expert believes humans would have attempted contact with aliens earlier had it not been for the collapse of economies after World War II.
The UFO expert at Harvard University has recently said that British War Prime Minister Winston Churchill had approved the launch of the search for extraterrestrial life, according to a document before becoming prime minister.
Avi Loeb, who has previously spoken out about his views on aliens, recently appeared in an episode of the well-known and controversial American commentator Joe Rogan Podcast, where he discussed Winston Churchill views on aliens.
In a video that received 17,800 likes on the TikTok network, the physicist says: “Winston Churchill in 1939, wrote an essay on life on other planets, on other stars or the search for people around it.
“We could not publish it because he later became prime minister and then we had to fight in World War II,” he said.
The 11-page Winston document was first unveiled in 2017 at the Churchill Museum in Missouri, USA, by director Timothy Riley.
The former British leader is believed to have funded laboratories, telescopes and technology development such as molecular genetics and X-ray crystallography.
But Leob says Britain should have done more.
“So much money was spent on the war that if it had been spent on extraterrestrial life as Churchill imagined we could now have an answer. This is just an example of how little intelligent we are, we only know how to fight each other. “
Fans at TikTok were divided as some said the conflict has accelerated technological advancements, while others said Leob’s comments were 100% accurate.
One user said: “World War II advanced technology by bringing us to today’s drones or computers.”
