A 35-year-old man was arrested by the Durrës police, after driving around with weapons and drugs in his car.
During the police operation coded “Action”, he was found traveling towards Tirana and tried to bribe the Police officers and then quickly left, risking their lives.
A pistol firearm, ammunition, heroin and a significant amount of money, which were found in the vehicle, were seized.
The citizen from Kamza has been identified as SC, 35 years old.
After being chased by other Police services, he was caught in Shijak, by the services of the Special Force “Shqiponja”.
During the physical check, a quantity of suspected narcotic substance heroin, a pistol with combat ammunition and a sum of money were found and seized from the 35-year-old man.
According to the police, the materials in charge of this citizen were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of Durrës, for the criminal offenses “Unauthorized possession of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition”, “Production and sale of narcotics”, “Active corruption of persons who exercise public functions” and “Irregular driving”.
