Minister Olta Xhacka met in Brussels with the Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement in the EC, Oliver Varhelyi, with whom she agreed that the decision for the first intergovernmental conference should be taken in June.
“I underlined Albania’s conviction that the failure to hold the first conference this June will negatively affect the credibility of the EU and the situation in the Western Balkans,” Xhacka wrote in a Twitter post.
