The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, is in Germany where she is participating in the proceedings of the Security Conference in Munich.
During the conference, Minister Xhaçka held a meeting with the Foreign Ministers of Germany, Annalena Baerbock, of Northern Macedonia, Bujar Osmani, of Kosovo, Donika Gërvalla and of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bisera Turkovic.
“Constructive discussion on the situation in the Western Balkans and the key role that Germany has in the development of the region. We look forward to working together, further deepening the excellent cooperation between Albania and Germany “, said Minister Xhaçka after the meeting.
The Albanian chief diplomat is in Germany as part of the Albanian delegation led by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
In addition to the Ukraine crisis, other important topics were discussed at the Security Conference, such as: climate change, digitalization, competition of systems between democracy and autocracy, etc.
