Zlatan Ibrahimovic celebrated the Serie A title with Milan a few days ago, but recently got a sad news after he had to undergo knee surgery and now the recovery time for the striker is around seven or eight months.
Practically, a closed year for Zlatan, who if he decides to continue with the football played would return to the field of play at the age of 41 years.
Meanwhile, after the surgery, the Swede also talked about the sacrifices he had to endure in this period, while emphasizing that he came down to the field with a damaged ligament.
“In the last six months, I have practically played without the left knee ligament. I have had a swollen knee for six months and in these months I have only managed to train with the team on ten occasions. In six months I have performed more than 20 injections per month and I have reduced knee swelling in only one case in the last six months. I could not sleep because of knee pain, I have never suffered so much both inside and outside the field. I did the impossible and in my head I had only one thought, to make my teammates and the champion coach of Italy because I had made a promise to them. “Now I have a new ligament, but also another trophy.” said Ibrahimovic./SuperSport
