Fiks Fare did 19 years since its inception. This birthday rediscovered Fiks as the most watched and loved investigative show of the Albanian screens.
On this anniversary, Fiksi once again brought to attention the most sensational topics it has dealt with, such as child trafficking and their sale outside Albania.
The rescue of the child from trafficking was in the focus not only of the Albanian media, but also of foreign ones, which were triggered by the show Fiks Fare to bring back to attention this sad phenomenon and scandal that would be long remembered.
Another equally sensational scandal was what in Fiks Fare is known as the “Stela File”. Stela was a girl from the city of Vlora who was used by police officers, or police officers, to trap businessmen or various individuals, who were then fined to close their files. The publication of this dossier shook the foundations of the Albanian police and organized crime related to police structures that operated undisturbed for years.
The culmination of Fiks Fare was the broadcast of the wiretapping between Ilir Meta, then Deputy Prime Minister, and the late Dritan Prifti, former Minister of Energy, in which he talked about corrupt affairs in the appointment of friends of Deputy Prime Minister Meta. As a tender in Albpetrol and the concession of a HPP in litigation from which 7% of the amount would benefit. Translated into money, about 700 thousand euros. The video with the wiretapping of Ilir Meta and Dritan Prifti, had a great echo where it was followed by strong protests of the then opposition, in January 2011.
The year 2021-2022 has been another successful season for the investigative show. For the first time, Fiks Fare sheds light on one of the most sensational events of the ’80s, with the main protagonist Sali Berisha, at that time party secretary, who with his actions managed to intern one of the most famous doctors of at that time, Mrs. Margarita Kostaqi and her doctor husband, Milto Kostaqi. For the first time, Fiks Fare published the testimony of the doctor, who passed away in 2011, which shows that the main man for her expulsion was his former colleague Sali Berisha, with whom he had a human relationship at the time.
Meanwhile, her colleagues and acquaintances, have told over the years the whole story, where their common denominator has been just one name; former President and former Prime Minister of Albania, Sali Berisha. Her exile was done for a single purpose, that of professional ego. By deporting Dr. Kostaqi, Sali Berisha took over the chairmanship of the cardiology ward.
