449 infected with COVID, three loss of life in the last 24 hours

449 citizens have been infected with COVID during the last 24 hours in our country, bringing to 7,542 the number of active cases throughout the country.

Out of 2,789 tests, 164 citizens tested positive with COVID in Tirana, 28 in Saranda, 24 in Fier, 22 in Durrës, 21 in Berat, 15 in Elbasan, 14 in Gjirokastra, 13 in Shkodra, Vlora, 12 in Lushnja, 9 in Mallakastra , 8 in Kamza, 7 in Kavaja, Delvina, Pogradec, Gramsh, 5 in Puka, Lezha, Selenica, Kuçova, 4 in Kukës, Patos, Tepelena, 3 in Malësi e Madhe, Himara, Konispol, Memaliaj, Skrapar, 2 in Tropoja , Mirditë, Shijak, Krujë, Divjakë, Libohovë, Përmet, Devoll, Korçë, Poliçan, 1 in Vau i Dejës, Fushë Arrëz, Has, Kurbin, Vora, Rrogozhinë, Dibër, Këlcyrë, Maliq, Dimal, Përrenjas.

Currently 105 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals, of which 15 are in more serious condition.

In the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of the medical staff, there are three loss of life, a citizen from Kurbin 78 years old, a citizen from Tirana 80 years old and a citizen from Tepelena 83 years old.

884 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 257,975 since the beginning of the epidemic.

The Ministry of Health advises that all citizens be vaccinated to protect themselves from the pandemic.

“Every citizen over 16 years old can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point. Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation. “Citizens who have passed 6 months from the second dose of the vaccine, to go to health centers or concentrated vaccination points, to be vaccinated with the third boosting dose”, according to the Ministry of Health.
