Prime Minister Albin Kurti after the adoption of the resolution against the organization of the referendum of Serbia in Kosovo, said that the position of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo is a principled position, in defense of constitutionality and legality in our country.
Kurti thanked the deputies of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo for approving the joint resolution.
“With 76 votes FOR and one abstention, the extraordinary session I requested regarding the intention to hold a referendum in Serbia in the Republic of Kosovo was concluded. The position of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo is a principled position, in defense of constitutionality and legality in our country. We will not violate our principles. Harmful practices are changed, and the law will be obeyed. “Kosovo is a sovereign and independent state, that is how it should be treated,” said Kurti.
