European Union funded projects, through the IPARD II program, focus on Rural Tourism and the Craft Industry and Manufacturing.
To encourage the application for the benefit of these funds, Prime Minister Edi Rama was in the Mullet area.
Rama- Agrotourism is an extraordinary opportunity for emigrants, who want to invest their savings, as it gives them the opportunity to invest higher savings than the income they earn from work in emigration. . This is already proven and all the cases of agro-tourism development that we have today on the map of rural tourism in Albania, speak for themselves.
On Rural Development, the Prime Minister stressed: It requires knowledge, rural development requires innovation, rural development requires at the same time a run with time. If we look at the panorama of our rural development today, we still have two realities living in parallel with each other. On the one hand it is the reality of those who succeed, precisely because they anticipate those obstacles, which change of time itself brings. While we also have the panorama of those who do not succeed, who have more and more obstacles, because they try to survive, not responding to the demands of the time.
The fourth call for applications is open until February 25th. The budget allocated by this call for applications is 5.2 million euros, co-financed in 75% of EU funds and 25% contribution of the state budget.
