After the end-of-year holidays, the traffic police come with a series of fines, and even arrests, for disobedient drivers who have been brought dangerously while traveling through the streets of Tirana.
After numerous preventive checks, the police found and arrested 5 drivers drunk or without a driving license.
The Blues have imposed hundreds of administrative measures on drivers who were shooting tires in residential areas, on those who made disturbing noises, or even on those who used their mobile phones while driving.
There were also penalties for drivers traveling at speeds beyond the norms, for whom the driving license was suspended.
Meanwhile, 1130 different vehicles were processed for stay and rest in violation of road signs and traffic rules.

Considering the dangerous behaviors that have been manifested during the change of years and are continuing in the first days of January, the streets of the capital have organized dedicated checks on vehicles that are a source for road events, focusing mainly on vehicles with tinted windshields, for speeding, cell phone use, erroneous overtaking, driving at speeds above allowed or under the influence of alcohol.
In the function of preventive controls, the following have been ascertained:
5 drivers were arrested, who were caught driving while intoxicated or without a driving license;
23 drivers were administratively prosecuted for speeding in residential centers and speed races;
6 drivers of sports vehicles were administratively prosecuted for disturbing noises from the way of driving;
29 drivers were administratively prosecuted for darkening the windshield;
131 drivers were administratively prosecuted for using the mobile device while driving;
39 drivers were administratively proceeded with the suspension of their driving license, for speeding above the allowed norms;
22 drivers were administratively prosecuted for driving under the influence of alcohol;
56 drivers were administratively prosecuted for wrong overtaking;
1130 different vehicles were processed for stay and rest in violation of road signs and traffic rules;
12 vehicles with registration plates of other states were escorted for verification, on behalf of other police structures.
