The High Judicial Council, the High Prosecution Council and the Ministry of Justice have agreed on a new map of the courts in the country, which will be proposed to the Council of Ministers.

Of the 20 Courts of First Instance of general jurisdiction, the new court map provides for only 12, while of the six Courts of Appeal, only one divided into two chambers.

While the Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja did not give a concrete date when the new court map will be implemented.

“The government guarantees the implementation of this map, the existing buildings do not hinder the implementation of the map.
