“Cadillac” type “Fleetwood Brougham”, once owned by Elvis Presley has been auctioned, said the company “British Car & Classic”. The car was purchased by Presley himself on September 26, 1974, for $ 12,512.
Equipped with a range of options, worthy of the king of rock’n’roll, the car is one of many “Cadillacs” bought by Elvis, a big fan of the American brand, throughout his life.
The car is equipped with a V8 8200cc engine and for this model with a yellow gold body color. In 1976 Elvis gave “Fleetwood Brougham” to his personal physician, Nichopoulos, who used it for 10 years. To accompany the auction, of course, are all the documents proving the famous initial ownership, completed with Elvis Presley’s firm, as well as subsequent ownership changes.
Although kept in excellent condition, both in the bodywork and in the interior (with expensive damask upholstery), and complete with all the details, the car needs a good adjustment due to the long stopping period. The odometer records only 2,776 kilometers and the powerful engine is almost completely original, except for the battery.
