A young man was arrested by Tirana police after being caught with firearms and ammunition.
Following the work to prevent, identify and crack down on criminal activity in the field of illegal possession of weapons, based on information gathered on the operational road that a citizen was carrying a firearm in the apartment, Crime Investigation Specialists at the Police Station no. 4, in cooperation with the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes in the Police Commissariat no. 2, have finalized the police operation codenamed “Coordination”, within which the citizen AM, 36 years old, resident in Tirana, was handcuffed.
Following the actions, during the control of the premises owned by him, the Police services found and seized as material evidence an automatic firearm and ammunition.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance in Tirana, for further action.
