A part of the walls at the entrance of Lezha castle were damaged last night by as yet unidentified persons.
These persons did not spare the ticket office at the entrance of the castle, breaking and damaging valuable books and documents inside it.
The specialist of the Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Ded Margjoni shows that such acts have happened other times, but this time documents of historical importance and the ancient walls of the castle have been affected.
Many buildings have been damaged at other times, such as benches, the electricity network, or the bridge at the entrance to the castle, and no precautionary measures have been taken yet, and it is obviously an ugly act that does not serve anyone, and greatly harms tourism.
